Complementary Schola Rosa CCM videos that coincide with each week of the CCM Timeline Study:

Every year, students memorize a timeline of 144 events and persons from Creation through modern times.  The children learn eight dates with facts per week.  With encouragement and practice, some of the students will be able to recite the entire timeline by the end of the year. Others will need more time, which is why the timeline work does not change from year to year. Memorizing a complete timeline is important for students to become familiar with the chronology of history. The following videos show suggested hand motions that your students can do to help them as they learn.

Please note: These videos were created for use with the Schola Rosa version of Classical Catholic Memory and are included here as a courtesy. The labels in the videos may not match CCM week numbers, but the content will. Using a cyclical structure and a family focused approach, Schola Rosa Curriculum both allows the whole family to work together and challenges each student with level appropriate material. The curriculum is richly Catholic in its outlook, classical and Charlotte-Mason in its pedagogy. Classically Catholic Memory is adapted to the cycles and included.
