Fathers’ and Mothers’ Outings Ideas

As parents, we know how important it is to have quality time with families, as well as time away from our families.  Each month we will feature an outing idea for mothers and fathers. We encourage you to build friendships with your fellow co-op families or local church couples.  So, get out there and have some fun!

Ladies’ Rendezvous:  Appetizers at a Local Restaurant
Get together to have appetizers at a local restaurant.  Make it simple: have everyone pay for herself; no one has to clean up or host.

Father’s Escape Idea:  Go-Cart Races or Fun Center
Meet up at a local go-cart race track or fun center. Every dad loves being a kid again, right? Plus, for the not-so-talkative father this gives him a chance to interact without being the center of a conversation.
